Hi, I'm Jasmine.
When I quit my job and went solopreneur in 2016, I had less income AND less impact that working my job. As a Kindergarten teacher I worked 50h a week at my day job. I brought in about $44K a year. I started an online business side hustle for 20h a week.
I decided to go all in. I went full-time entrepreneur, worked 80h / week... and was totally broke.
I tripled the amount of time I was spending on my business and I was making maybe 20% more money then when it was just a side hustle.
What gives?
See when I had a full-time job I had to focus. I had to prioritize. There was no other option.I only had time for the the absolute-musts. You know those “Do them or the business closes” activities...
But without a day job, I had all the time in the world and no idea how to use it to make more money and help more clients.
What’s worse was I FINALLY wasn’t being boxed in by a job… but my business felt like a cage... I even started to resent it because I never 👏stopped👏 working.👏
